Our most requested feature is finally here. Workflows is a powerful new automation engine that handles your employee lifecycle for you. It is a fully-fledged feature with a drag-and-drop visual builder.

You can now design custom "Joiner, Mover, and Leaver" processes in minutes. For example, you can create a workflow that triggers when a new user is created to automatically provision their Google Workspace account, assign a Slack license, and add them to the "All-Company" group—all without lifting a finger. It includes a library of templates and a visual canvas so you can see exactly how your automation flows.

Find anything in your organization in seconds. We’ve introduced a powerful new search experience accessible via Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K). You can now search across users, groups, and applications from a single unified interface. It’s smart, fast, and shows your recent searches so you can jump back into your work instantly.

👻 Orphaned Account Detection

Keep your environment secure and your costs accurate. seatbase now automatically detects "orphaned" accounts—users who are still active in your systems but have no licenses assigned or have shown zero activity over time. We’ve added a dedicated reporting view for these accounts and improved detection for non-human service accounts, ensuring you only pay for the seats you actually use.

🛠️ Advanced Connectivity (MCP)

For teams using AI agents, we’ve implemented full OAuth 2.0 support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This allows you to securely connect AI tools to your seatbase data without having to create credentials and supports immediate credential revocation.
